Supply and installation of a broad range of commercial catering equipment covering any requirement from simple heavy equipment provision, to full kitchen fit out through to complete fit out of back and front of house including (if required) bespoke counter manufacture and advisory and design services in keeping with the University’s brand look and feel. It will be essential for successful contractors to work closely with the relevant Catering Managers, Estates staff Main Contractors and Consultants to ensure the layout and choice of equipment provides the best overall solution within the budget allocated. Fabrication of worktops etc. may be required to provide a professional finish to the area. Individual projects will vary from supply and installation of individual pieces of equipment, through to refurbishment/ refreshing of existing catering areas (including removal and disposal of old equipment) to design, supply and installation of catering spaces allocated within new build projects. Annual spend on this commodity varies considerably depending on projects but the University spends on average 100 000 GBP per year.
