The University of Sheffield wishes to invite tenders for supply to the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre”s new Factory of the Future initiative at Catcliffe in Rotherham.
Scope of Requirement:
The supply, installation and commissioning of an Augmented Reality System for aiding manufacture and demonstrating AR technology.
Lot 1: Hand Held Augmented Reality System. This system will predominately be used for Augmented Reality; to aid in display and instruction for engineering tasks. The system should include licencing and software support for a period covered in the tender specification.
Lot 2: Wearable Augmented Reality System. This system will predominately be used for Augmented Reality cells; to aid in display and digital instruction for engineering tasks. The system should should tie into other data and web systems at the AMRC Factory 2050 and run on wireless, hardware provided as part of the tender.
