The Civic, Wulfrun Halls and Slade Rooms are situated in the City of Wolverhampton with easy access from the M6 and M54. The venues are multi-purpose, both for live entertainment and civic events. The contract will be for a period of 5 years (option to extend for 2 years). The tender has 2 lots. Providers may price for both Lots or an individual Lot, each individual Lot will be awarded to a single Provider, a Provider must price and be able to supply all the items within the Lot. To make an assessment of the Council’s requirements, it is essential that Providers visit the main sites stated in this tender, for example to establish cellar and dispensing equipment requirements required for the draught beer. The dates set aside for visits, by prior arrangement, are Thursday 15.6.2017 and Friday 16.6.2017. Appointments to arrange a visit on one of these days must be requested via the message facility linked to this tender.
Clarifications received from Providers after noon Wednesday 21.6.2017 in relation to this tender will not be responded to.
The closing date for return of tenders, which will be via the Council’s e-tendering portal is Friday 30.6.2017 no later than 12:00, please allow plenty of time to upload your completed tender return, extension requests to this deadline will not be considered.

Lot No: 1 Lot title: Provision of Draught Beers, Ancillary Items and Technical support

1)Short description

The successful Provider must be able to provide a service, free of charge, which includes the following:
— The provision of all equipment necessary for dispensing of all beers from keg and cask, including piping from where keg and cask are situated, to where beers are dispensed for consumption;
— The provision of refrigeration equipment in the beer cellars;
— The provision of fast pour beer lines;
— The provision of a multi pour dispense unit on bar serveries.
All to be installed and ready for use by the 16.10.2017 Contract commencement 2.10.2016.
All equipment, for example, pythons, chiller units, fob detectors, gas lines, cleaning lines and cleaning units to be supplied and be inclusive of all maintenance.
The successful Provider must be able to supply:
— Supply draught keg and cask beer.
— Supply certain products for one off events on a sale or return basis.
— Supply of keg containers in the sizes as stated in the pricing schedule.
— Provide an all year-round delivery service, excluding Christmas Day.
— Supply stillage equipment and accessories (taps, vent plugs, pressurising accessories and cooling blankets).
— Supply and source marketing material and branding for all types of our bar serveries.
— Work with specific event sponsorship in the provision of their product. On occasions when a particular event requires the support of sponsored suppliers the successful Provider will work with all parties to successfully achieve the required outcomes. For example, for 3 years Singha Beer were the sponsors of the Grand Slam of Darts event and required their product to be the sole lager available for the duration of the event. Another example would be when an act has a product specific to them which they require to be on sale at the event i.e. Status Quo and Piledriver beer.

The successful Provider must be able to provide a service which includes the following:
— The provision of bottled (glass and plastic) and canned alcoholic and soft drinks;
— The provision of chilling and service equipment to be provided free of charge;
— Support in sourcing and supplying marketing and branding products for bar servery.
The successful Provider must be able to:
— Supply and deliver a range of bottled beers, wines, spirits, soft drinks and post-mix.
— Supply certain products for one off events on a sale or return basis.
— Work with specific event sponsorship in the provision of their product. On occasions when a particular event requires the support of sponsored suppliers the successful Provider will work with all parties to successfully achieve the required outcomes. For example, for 3 years Singha Beer were the sponsors of the Grand Slam of Darts event and required their product to be the sole lager available for the duration of the event.
