Tate is seeking companies to design, build and implement an e-Commerce platform solution capable of delivering best practice e-Commerce functionality with outstanding user experience (UX) and design, across ticketing, memberships and physical product sales. Tate requires a base e-Commerce software/SaaS solution, visual design/UX services, and technical design, build and implementation services. Following an initial project to go live with ticketing and membership e-Commerce, Tate requires ongoing provision of the base platform, and a framework agreement with a development partner for future projects.

1)Short description

Tate requires an e-Commerce platform as the transactional component upon which ticketing, membership, and physical product sales will be delivered. The e-Commerce platform should, either natively, or through a 3rd party provided plug-in or through supporting the development and integration of a customised plug-in to handle Tate ticket selling functional requirements. The platform should have:
— Excellent standard implementation of e-Commerce (e.g. product navigation, check out flow, payments etc. )
— The ability to deliver flexible custom pages (that can optimise for mobile devices) within the framework (not just stylesheet design but different execution) to deliver custom ticket buying component.

— The ability to integrate the underlying ticketing systems Print@Home and Mobile e-Ticket documents through the customer account and membership number.

Lot No: 2 Lot title: Ticketing and Membership Visual Design & UX

1)Short description

Tate requires a supplier organisation with strong user experience (UX) and visual design capabilities to lead the design of the ticketing, membership and physical product e-Commerce site. The design should be informed by the features and constraints of a separately selected e-Commerce Platform and should:
— Apply visual design style to standard transactional pages (e.g. payments/checkout)
— Potentially consider a plug in component to deliver the ticketing sales experience on top of the e-Commerce Platform
— Develop optimised User Experience (UX) design for ticketing and membership product selection (e.g. finding available events, dates and time slots, selecting different ticket types and options, cross/up sell messaging for membership, offering different membership types and add ons).
— Consider and allow for innovation and future development (including mobile e-Tickets and membership and ability to incorporate a dynamic pricing model).
— Importantly the visual design should incorporate Tate’s new brand guidelines.

Lot No: 3 Lot title: Ticketing and Membership Implementation

1)Short description

Tate requires a systems integration or e-Commerce agency with proven experience of technical design, configuration, development, testing, deployment and support which can deliver Tate’s e-Commerce solution. The supplier is required to deliver the technical implementation of configuring and/or developing components to the agreed Visual/UX design on top of a selected e-Commerce platform.
We also wish to configure and setup key back office processes such as product updates and reporting. Additionally the supplier will also be required to implement integration of Ticketing selection component (e.g. finding available tickets and adding them to a basket) against an API from Tate’s existing Ticket and Membership business system (ENTA).
For future phases following the implementation of Ticketing and Memberships, Tate wishes to enter into a flexible framework agreement to cover future e-Commerce projects including e-Ticketing and consolidating physical product commerce alongside ticketing and memberships.
