It was decided after meeting with Key Industry Representatives, that a true cloud/SAAS solution was required. A virtually hosted system does not qualify as a Cloud/SAAS solution

Description of particular conditions: North Ayrshire Council is committed to maximising Community Benefits from its procurement activities to support the Councils social, economic and environmental objectives. The Council has implemented a Community Benefits in Procurement Policy to ensure that consideration is given to the inclusion of Community Benefits across all supplies, services and works contracts to support the above commitment through the creation of apprenticeships, training and work experience for younger people and the long term unemployed, increasing supply chain opportunities for both SME’s & Third Sector Organisations and providing support to Education and Skills through the provision of school visits, career advice and life experiences that will support Curriculum for Excellence. For information purposes only applicants are asked to consider the above in relation to the Councils requirement for a Financial Management System (FMS) and provide feedback on any Community Benefits that have been delivered to other Clients during the previous 12 months and any Community Benefits that could be delivered whilst implementing the FMS.
