The Agency is seeking to improve its incident response capability by increasing its stock of temporary flood defences. These defences may be used in a variety of flooding incidents and will form an essential part of our flood incident response.
The Agency is seeking to award a contract to multiple suppliers of Flood Protection Products of Filled Tubes with a minimum Barrier Height of 1,0m. To supply between 1km and 5km of these flood barriers, depending upon available budget. The suppliers will be required to supply all fittings, fixings and consumables to permit un-compromised deployment and operation of the equipment throughout its life. The equipment is stored at a network of depots distributed around England.
