The vector network analyser will support a multitude of activities in RF and microwave test and measurement. Those activities will be specified in the subsequent Invitation to Tender (ITT). Such activities will include antenna pattern measurements in an anechoic chamber as well as testing the S-parameters of novel antenna designs and other microwave devices. It should be noted that the details of the anechoic chamber will be specified in a separate ITT. The vector network analyser will also be used to conduct propagation measurements over short ranges in a variety of locations. The specifications have been set out in this document to reflect such requirements.
