Dudley MBC is seeking an appropriate Contractor to install and maintain a Street Lighting Central Management System (CMS) to provide control and diagnostics of the approximately 32,000 street lights across the Borough.
Ongoing annual maintenance will be required to ensure that the Central Management System is fully operational at all times.
The successful Contractor will also be required to supply adequate number of Nodes and Dimming Devices to be fitted to individual street lights across the Borough.
Installation of Nodes and Dimming Devices will be undertaken by the Council’s own Street Lighting Team in the Directorate of the Urban Environment.

The successful Contractor(s) are required to take account of sustainable development e.g. environmental, social and economic impacts of delivery and to actively participate in the protection of the environment. Accordingly contract performance and conditions may relate in particular to social and environmental considerations.
Dudley MBC will be utilising its e-procurement portal In-Tend for this procurement exercise. The Tender should be received no later than Friday 3.8.2012 at (noon) 12:00 hours and will be available for download until 23:59 hours on Thursday 2.8.2012. URL: www.blackcountrybusiness.co.uk.
