Information and formalities necessary for evaluating if the requirements are met include Economic Operators being asked to self-certify that they satisfy the following test for economic and financial standing: that they are financially sound and have sufficient economic resources to perform the contract. Relevant factors include the Candidate’s annual turnover, liquidity, gearing and cash flow.

III.1.3)Technical and professional ability

List and brief description of selection criteria:

Set out fully within the Pre Qualification Questionnaire but includes the following requirements:

— The Economic Operator must have experience of building and delivering steel hulled vessels on- time and in accordance with applicable standards;

— The Economic Operator must have experience of building and delivering vessels to a bespoke third party’s design;

— The Economic Operator must have sufficient plant and equipment available to be able to construct the vessel efficiently and in accordance with the Specification;

— The Economic Operator must be adequately resourced in relation to personnel and ensure that it is able to effectively allocate it to fulfil the orders that it has. Personnel, whether employees or contractors, must be adequately supervised and trained;

— The vessel must have been completed by full active service is 31.1.2017;

— The Economic Operator must be able to ensure that the vessel is protected from adverse weather conditions throughout the construction process.
