From 1st January 2013, Cheshire West and Chester Council on behalf of Cheshire East Council will have approximately 15 months to plan and migrate away from Windows XP to Windows 7 as Microsoft’s support for the Windows XP operating system goes end of life on 8th April 2014. The total estate is approximately 7 000. To support the ease of the migration and to provide a consistent user experience, irrespective of the desktop, we are looking to buy Appsense Management Suite Licences or (Equivalent). All Licences must have been received by 31/03/2014.
A contract for at least one of the Lots may be awarded following budget confirmation.

Description of these options: Due to ever changing uncertainty of local government budgets, the solution is being advertised in three lots. Budgets are still being finalised and will not be confirmed until the award of the tender. A contract for at least one of the Lots may be awarded following budget confirmation.
