Call off agreement for the supply, installation and maintenance of initially 1 dual view personal baggage scanning equipment, with various sizes of scanners to be required over the period of 4 years.
Initial replacement of existing security equipment located around the parliamentary estate.
The new equipment is to be installed in a remodelled main entrance layout. The supplier will be responsible for ensuring the equipment fits within the available plan area.
A dual view bag scanner is required with run on and run off plus automatic tray return system. The intent is to improve visitor throughput. A minimum throughput capacity of approx 250 persons per hour is required. A reject facility for suspect bags is also required with the ability for local and remote control.
