II.2.1)Total quantity or scope:

The contract is for the supply of suitably experienced and qualified personnel whom will provide a round the clock (24 hours per day, 365/6 days per year) robust CCTV monitoring and concierge function that is to be operated out of Solihull Community Housing’s CCTV Control Room.
SCH’s CCTV Control Room has been designed to accommodate up to 3 system Operators and 1 Supervisor. SCH’s scheme consists of a CCTV system requiring the monitoring and management of approximately 450 fully functional and static cameras, together with a Concierge Door Entry System and automated Access Control System covering approximately 50 remote sites.
In addition to the CCTV monitoring and concierge function there is a requirement for the monitoring of Lift Emergency Calls, Intruder Alarms, Fire Alarms, Emergency Lighting, Mobile Telephones, and other 2 way audio systems. Further service requirements include a range of administrative type functions.
The Contract is due to commence on 6.5.2016.
The Contract Period for the provision of the Service shall be for an initial three (3) years with the option to extend the period (subject to performance) by up to a further two (2) years.
TUPE: Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 (TUPE) may apply in respect of this contract.
