Colchester Institute is seeking an organisation to work with to fulfil food supply requirements for its Chefs department. please note there are 2 lots — Lot 1 fruit and vegetables and Lot 2 dry goods.
It is vital that the successful vendors are able to comply with our delivery schedules due to our limited space at the college.
— Lot 1 — deliveries need to be twice daily;
— Lot 2 — deliveries need to be twice weekly.

Lot 1 refers to the supply and delivery of fresh fruit and vegetables to the Colchester Institute’s Chefs department.
Please note the delivery for this would have to be twice daily at or just before 7:30 Monday to Friday and second daily delivery arrives at or just before 11:30-12:00 Monday to Friday (in the event a second delivery is not required the vendor is notified ASAP).

Lot 2 refers to the supply and delivery of dry food goods including grains to the Colchester Institute’s Chefs department.
Lot 2 deliveries are twice weekly and they would need to arrive at or just before 8:30 on Friday and an am delivery on Monday. In the event of extra deliveries the vendor would be notified ASAP.

Description of particular conditions: The delivery schedules as listed in the two lots need to be complied with. Furthermore an overall consistency of quality is also required.

Information and formalities necessary for evaluating if the requirements are met: The Authority will apply all the offences listed in Article 45(1) of Directive 2004/18/EC (implemented as Regulation 23(1) of the Public Contract Regulations (PCR) 2006 in the UK) and all of the professional misconducts listed at Article 45(2) of Directive 2004/18/EC (see also Regulation 23(2) in the PCR 2006) to the decision of whether a Candidate is eligible to be invited to tender.
