The Council intends to hold a supplier engagement workshop on 11.9.2012 to communicate Lincolnshire County Council’s intentions for successful delivery as well to seek market input and feedback as to how the opportunity can provide value for money. The workshop is open to suppliers who may be interested in providing either one of the above service areas, or potentially more than one. The workshop will consist of a general introduction to how the services are currently let, what delivery options are being considered and an overview of how the contract(s) may work. In addition there will be the opportunity to take part in service specific surgery sessions to discuss, in more detail, what LCC would like to achieve through the arrangements and to receive supplier insights into the contract opportunity. Access to these surgery appointments will be limited and although LCC will endeavour to meet with all interested parties, slots cannot be guaranteed to everyone. Expressions of interest to attend this event must be sent to FDSSP@lincolnshire.gov.uk by 24.8.2012.
After the supplier workshop event LCC will provide summaries of the day’s key findings and then aim to publish an OJEU Contract Notice in early Jan 2013. Please direct any queries or expressions of interest during this period to FDSSP@lincolnshire.gov.uk to ensure your submissions are dealt with.
