The Guildhall School for Music and Drama (GSMD) are looking to purchase a number of large and small format projectors. The purpose of this purchase is to acquire the technical infrastructure necessary to deliver on a number of multimedia live events/installation projects. The Framework Agreement will be awarded for a core period of 2 (two) years, with the option to extend this up to 2 (two) further years in 1 year increments an annual basis subject to the right of the Authority (at its sole discretion).

Please note that the requirements of the Framework Agreement will be subject to available financial resources, performance of the contractor and flexibility to meet changing demands. In addition, there will be no form of exclusivity or volume that is guaranteed under the resultant Framework Agreement and the City will be entitled to enter into other contracts and arrangements with other suppliers for the provision of any, or all, of the requirements which are the same as, or similar to those specified under the established Framework Agreement.

This tendering exercise is being undertaken using the electronic tendering system “CapitaleSourcing” (www.capitalesourcing.com). Suppliers will need to register an interest on the system in order to participate and registration is free.
The estimated value given at II.2.6) is for the full duration of the Framework Agreement including the maximum possible extensions. This is based on the estimated value of the initial purchase of projectors (in line with the procurement documents), projector lenses, ancillary equipment and allows for any additional orders which may be required throughout the duration of the agreement.
The turnover requirement is calculated as the annual average of the last 2 reported financial years, divided by the pre-tender estimated value for the initial order (350 000 GBP).
The City reserves the right at any time to vary the timescales in this Notice, cease the procurement process and not award a Contract or to award only part of the opportunity described in this notice. If the City takes up any of these rights then it will not be responsible for, or pay the expenses or losses, which may be incurred by any candidate or tenderer as a result. Economic operators are solely responsible for their costs and expenses incurred in connection with the preparation of their submissions and all future stages of the procurement. Under no circumstances will the City be liable for costs or expense borne by the economic operators.
