“This Framework Agreement shall be for the benefit of the Contracting Authority (and any future successors) and the Contracting Authority’s corporate entities compliant with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. During 2016 Nottinghamshire County Council plans to create a new highways company as a joint venture with the Cornwall Council wholly owned Teckal company, Corserv Ltd. The new highways company will be fully under the public sector ownership. The Contracting Authority shall be entitled to novate the Agreement to any other body which substantially performs any of the functions that previously have been performed by the Authority. Including their statutory successors and wholly or partially owned organisations. In the event that novation does occur, the recipient body will continue to utilise the contract for the fulfilment of all services for the full annual term and for the requirements of the Authority under the terms of the contract.
