Tenderers will be required to have a modelling capability to supply under sleeper pads of various sizes and stiffness.

The indicative volumes are currently 340 000 units per annum. Better detail on the requirements and quantities for under sleeper pads will be provided in the pre-qualification documents.
Suppliers will be expected to work closely and in partnership with Network Rail.

Description of these options: In addition, to the 4 year contract period, Network Rail will retain the option to extend the contract by up to a further 4 years.

Suppliers will be expected to comply with all instructions during the course of the tender.
