The Authority wishes to obtain the supply and delivery of wheeled refuse containers to conform to EN 840:2012 standard, 55 litre kerbside boxes, bottle banks, compost units with kitchen caddies, kitchen caddies only and compostable kitchen caddy liners. Wheeled Refuse Collection Containers of 140L, 180L, 240L, 360L, 660L and 1 100L capacity are required variously in the colours grey, brown, blue, white and green as specified within the tender documentation. Compostable kitchen caddy liners are to fit 7 litre kitchen caddies and conform to EN 13432:200 and BS EN 13592:2003 standards, meeting the specification as detailed within the tender documents. The Contracting Authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). For the avoidance of doubt, the Contracting Authority points out that no weight will be attached to whether or not an economic operator is an SME in selecting economic operators to submit tenders or in assessing the most economically advantageous tender.

The Contract is for an initial term of 12 months with a possible 12 month extension and consists of 16 Lots detailed as follows:
Lot 1 — The Supply and Delivery of approximately 800 x 140 Litre Wheeled Refuse Collection Containers to EN 840:2012 standard required in the colours grey, blue, brown and green as specified in the tender documentation.
Lot 2 — The Supply and Delivery of approximately 3 500 x 180 Litre wheeled refuse collection containers to EN 840:2012 required in colours grey, blue, brown and green as specified in the tender documentation.
Lot 3 — The supply and delivery of approximately 13 540 240-litre wheeled refuse collection containers in colours grey, blue, brown and green as specified in the tender documentation.
Lot 4 — The supply and delivery of approximately 665 x 360 litre wheeled refuse collection containers to EN 840:2012 required in colours grey, brown, blue and green as specified in the tender documentation.
Lot 5 — The supply and delivery of approximately 11 120 x 7 litre vented kitchen caddies to be used for the storage and carrying of domestic organic waste.
Lot 6 — The supply and delivery of approximately 11 120 x 7 litre non-vented kitchen caddies to be used for the storage and carrying of domestic organic waste.
Lot 7 — The supply and delivery of approximately 300 x 20-25 litre non-vented kitchen caddies to be used for the storage and carrying of domestic organic waste.
Lot 8 — The supply and delivery of approximately 1 370 x home compost units with kitchen caddies required in green, brown and black as specified in the tender documentation.
Lot 9 — The supply and delivery of approximately 3 750 x 55 litre kerbside boxes with full perimeter rim to be used by the public for depositing and storing various dry recyclables required in colours black and red as specified in the tender documentation.
Lot 10 — The supply and delivery of approximately 3 750 x 55 litre kerbside boxes with moulded handles and full perimeter rim to be used by the public for depositing and storing various dry recyclables required in colours black and red as specified in the tender documentation.
