The College has a requirement, detailed in the Specification Document, for the provision of a Cyber Forensic solution that includes:
— Hardware — including installation and configuration;
— Software — including the provision of datasets;
— Training;
— Support and maintenance.
The College anticipates that the initial purchase of the hardware and software will cost approximately 48 000 GBP exclusive of VAT. Support and maintenance will commence with effect from the date of installation and configuration and may be extended in line with the uptake of any optional extension periods. Following this, additional services as outlined in the Mandatory Requirements within the Specification Document may be required including support and maintenance, software, hardware, training and module development to accommodate possible roll out across the College. Charges in respect of additional services will be in line with the current Terms and Conditions of contract and agreed Pricing Schedule and will only be increased using the price indexation after the initial contract period.

This contract is for an initial period of 2 years with the option to extend for a further 2 year period followed by 3 optional periods of 1 year each i.e. 2 + 2 + 1+ 1 +1.
Following this, additional services as outlined in the Mandatory Requirements within the Specification Document may be required including support and maintenance, software, hardware, training and module development to accommodate possible roll out across the College.

That notification will provide full information on the award decision. The standstill period, which will be for a minimum of 10
calendar days, provides time for unsuccessful tenderers to challenge the award decision before the contract is entered into
The Public Contracts Regulations 2015 provide for aggrieved parties who have been harmed or are at risk of harm by a
breach of the rules to take action in the High Court (England, Wales and Northern Ireland). Any such action must generally
be brought within 3 months. If a declaration of ineffectiveness is sought, any such action must be brought within 30 days
where the Authority has communicated the award of the contract and a summary of reasons to tenderers, or otherwise within
6 months of the contract being entered into. Where a contract has not been entered into the court may order the setting
aside of the award decision or order the Authority to amend any document and may award damages. If the contract has
been entered into the Court may, depending on the circumstances, award damages, make a declaration of ineffectiveness,
order the Authority to pay a fine, and/or order that the duration of the contract be shortened. The purpose of the standstill
period referred to above is to allow the parties to apply to the Courts to set aside the award decision before the contract
is entered into”.
