Description of the contract

The main aim of this programme is to provide a service that supports Jobseeker Allowance customers who have health barriers and anxieties (including mental health issues), which are preventing them from coming off benefits and returning to work. The programme needs to go beyond simple medical interventions and tackle more deep-seated issues such as anxiety, pain management and lack of confidence. The provision aims to:- ? Educate, support and advise customers on how to better understand and manage their health condition in a work environment. ? Help customers feel more positive about returning to the labour market. ? Enable customers to feel more confident and informed about discussing and negotiating their individual needs with their employer. ? Promote sustainability through identifying and reacting early to any negative issues arising in the work place.
