The Scheme also provides or replaces essential household items if a resident cannot afford to do this. Decisions are made immediately during a phone conversation with the resident, providing immediate assistance for the emergency. The requirement has been divided into 2 lots — Lot 1 — Kitchen Appliances and Lot 2 — Furniture, Bedding and Other Items. Tenders may be submitted for 1 lot or both lots.
