Lot 1: Claims System
– Detailed design and configuration of the core FSCS claims management software;
o Siebel Financial Services 8.1
o Open Text ECS 10
o Other FSCS software as required to deliver the end-to-end claims management process
– Integration of the claim processing system with the finance system (SunSystems)
– Enhancements to the document management system to meet requirements for non-deposits claims processing (Open Text ECS 10)
– Integration of the claim processing system with the document management system
– Detailed design and configuration of automated eligibility and compensation amount processing
– Work stream/project management of the above
Further activities which will be required in the context of the above:
– Governance, project management and planning
– Environment management
– Release management
– Elements of solution validation and testing

FSCS requires that the work will be complete within a 12 month period from contract award and intends to include an obligation in the service delivery contract to require that the provider will therefore deliver within this timeframe.

1)Short description
Lot 2: Online Claims Portal
Lot 2 will be the implementation of an online claims portal, to include the following.
– Design, build and implement the online claim portal
– Design, build and implement a web analytics solution to meet MI requirements.
– Work stream/project management of the above
– The on-going support and maintenance of the solution (note that this is likely to include a consumer facing helpdesk for technical problems)
– Further development and enhancements to the FSCS website and online capability
