- Barnsley Council (BMBC) is inviting tenderers from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the provision of a 24/7 Telecare Response Service, for a period of 3 years with a possible extension of 1 year. The contract will commence on Monday 6th April 2015.
Telecare provides an extremely valuable service and a good value service in the community. The Response Team provides a lifeline to the Telecare customers.
This service is required to support people living in Barnsley who have community alarms and/or Telecare equipment installed within their homes.
The contract holder will work an integrated service with BMBC who are the core provider of Telecare.
The total contract value is £600,000 including the 1 year extension (this is a value of up to £150,000 per annum).
