This specification is for the provision of a domestic violence advocacy, family support and Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC) coordination service. The Advocacy and Family Support Service will advise and support victims of domestic violence to ensure their safety and their children’s, reduce their risk of harm, and improve their well-being. The primary purpose will be to meet the needs of victims assessed as medium to high-risk of harm and supporting victims who report to the police and whose cases proceed through the criminal justice system. The MARAC coordination will support the development and delivery of Brent’s Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC) in line with the ten guidance principles for an effective MARAC, as defined by CAADA. The main aim of the MARAC is to reduce the risk of serious harm or homicide for a victim and to increase the safety, health and wellbeing of victims – adults and any children.

The contract will be entered in England and according to English Law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
