The electrical testing including testing of all fixed electrical equipment within the property, visual inspection of all associated lateral (including thermal imaging/reports) and rising mains in accordance with the requirements of BS7671 (as amended).

The assessment of all relevant items scheduled within the Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) on a five (5) year cycle for every property and the completion of an EICR.

The rectification of faults which deem the installation to be dangerous or potentially dangerous in accordance with the parameters set within this Specification.

List and brief description of conditions:

Tenderers will need to demonstrate that they have the requisite skills, infrastructure, resources and procedures already in place to deliver the work required by L&Q. Examples of the standard expected of the Contractors are:

— Experienced, qualified and NICEIC certified engineers, supervisors, team leaders and sub-contractors.

— Being able to self-audit all aspects of the Works to ensure that consistently high levels of service are attained, including quality checks on personnel, site work and sub-contractors.

— Providing accurate and detailed cost information to enable forward planning and budget forecasting on a quarterly basis.

— Well established systems and processes to programme inspections with residents and neighbourhood offices as appropriate and to meet the requirements of the Contract and deliver an excellent service to our residents.
