Places for People is seeking expressions of interest from suitably resourced and experienced manufactures in order to supply domestic Boilers and Radiators across the United Kingdom.
Places for People is a registered provider of social housing. The Contracting Authority is one of the largest property management, development and regeneration companies in the UK.
Suppliers must be able to provide boilers and/or radiators on a supply only basis. Therefore the successful provider must be prepared to supply through the Places for People separate merchant agreement.

Places for People is a registered provider of social housing. The Contracting Authority is one of the largest property management, development and regeneration companies in the UK, with a stock portfolio of over 80,000 properties covering a large geographical area from Edinburgh to the Isle of White.
Potential suppliers must note that delivery is required to the merchant sector across the UK.
Places for People spend approximately GBP 1,700,000 per annum on domestic boilers and radiatiors.
The opporunity is to be divided in to 2 Lots. Lot 1 is for the supply of domestic boilers and Lot 2 is for the Supply of Radiators.
The short listed suppliers will be asked to provide samples of products at a product day.

Appliacants will then receive a login to Ariba Sourcing and will be able to view and download pre qualification documents, additional information and submit pre qualification questionnaire responses.
Pre qualification responses should be submitted online using Ariba Sourcing no later than 12:00 noon on 31.1.2013.
Applicants should allow plenty of time to complete and submit there response by the deadline.
Please note that Ariba Sourcing will be unavailable during the hours 16:00 to 18:00 UK time during weekdays to enable new expressions of interest to be set up and provided with their login details.
