Tenders are invited from contractors for garden clearance to include the removal of garden and general waste and hazardous refuse in various types of council owned properties located within the Borough of Sandwell. The Tenderer should also have the facility to undertake internal house clearance and from time to time pest control and fumigation works.
The properties are a mixture of houses, bungalows, high and low rise flats and maisonettes.
As part of this tender the contractor must adhere to the Council’s Social Value Act 2012 requirement and be asked to look at supporting this Act as a consequence of being successful in winning this contract. You will be asked to demonstrate your support to include social and economic requirements as a social ‘added’ value to this contract.

Precise information on deadline(s) for lodging appeals: Sandwell MBC will incorporate a standstill period at the point information on the award of the contract is communicated to tenderers. That notification will provide full information on the award decision. The standstill period, which will be for a minimum of 10 calendar days, provides time for unsuccessful tenderers to challenge the ward decision before the contract is entered into.
