Service provider(s) to design, supply, implement and support solutions to upgrade / replace elements of the existing NAC core IT infrastructure advertised in 3 LOTS (NAC Reference: NAC\ICT\2012-12(3L)). The procurement is split into three lots. Suppliers are able to provide solutions for any or all of the lots. The Council will evaluate responses to establish the combination of solutions and bidders that offers the best technical and commercial solution overall.

1)Short description
The Council is seeking a supplier to assist it with the redesign, upgrade and refresh of its LAN estate. The updated LAN will be used to support Council users, servers, storage and peripherals, and will provide an infrastructure that can support future applications, such as IP Telephony, video and WLAN.

— the design, supply, installation, commissioning and testing of the LAN solution for the Council HQ and ‘Large Sites’;

— the support of core network equipment;
— supplying ongoing consultancy services, when requested, through the contract term.
