Section V1.3.1 Variants will be accepted in addition to a compliant bid (as set out in the tender documents) provided the contracting authority’s core requirements are met and provided they are in accordance with the tender documents. The contracting authority reserves the right to require mandatory variant bids – further details will be set out in the tender documents.
Section V1.3.2 The strategic partnering arrangement will be for a period of 7 years with an option to extend for a further 3 years. The term of any contracts flowing from the partnership may extend beyond this period.
