Bournemouth Airport are part of the Manchester Airport Group (MAG) who own and operate 4 UK airports, Manchester, Stansted, East Midlands and Bournemouth. MAG airports currently serve 46 000 000 passengers a year and are the largest UK owned airport operator. all 4 airports contribute 3 200 000 000 to the UK economy and support over 130 000 jobs.
Bournemouth Airport currently serves circa 600 000 passengers and connects the south west of England to more than 35 destinations across Europe. The airport has recently gone through a 50 000 000 GBP transformation which has increased its capacity to circa 3 000 000 per year.
Bournemouth airport are seeking a best in class private hire (taxi services) solution to transport passengers to and from the terminal. The airport wishes to invite interested parties to join a tender process in order that a concession agreement can be put in place for 3 years. Interested parties are requested to follow the instructions below to register their interest.
Interested suppliers should:

1. Register in the first instance to the wax digital e-tendering portal using the link https://esourcing.waxdigital.co.uk/MAG/SignIn.aspx

2. Once registered within the wax digital e-tendering portal, please contact Andy Hayes by email on andy_hayes@stanstedairport.com and confirm your expression of interest all of the tendering correspondence will be carried out via the wax digital portal.

This contract opportunity is a services concession contract. As such the publication of a contract notice in respect of this opportunity is being undertaken on a voluntary basis. Moreover, as services concession contracts are expressly excluded from the scope of the utilities contracts regulations 2006 (as amended), Bournemouth airport does not consider itself bound by those regulations in any way. Any references to the EC directive 2004/17/EC or the utilities contracts regulations 2006 (as amended) in the contract notice, pre qualification questionnaire or any other tender documents should be read with this in mind. While Bournemouth airport is basing this tender process on the negotiated procedure provided for in the regulations, it does not consider itself bound by the provisions regarding that procedure and reserves the right to depart from the negotiated procedure as provided for in the regulations at any time.

Bournemouth airport is doing so of its own preference, in the interests of transparency and does not consider itself bound by those regulations in any way.
