YPO may require the service of third party logistics from another warehouse location at any point throughout the life of the contract.

1)Short description

The Contract has been broken down into lots based on type of delivery or collection required, (i.e. multi parcel consignments, multi parcel pallet consignments, single parcels consignments) covering all of the UK mainland and ‘offshore islands’ plus a multi parcel consignment requirement to supplement YPO Own Fleet deliveries within an economic radius of Wakefield. Companies are invited to express interest in a single lot or any number of lots. Please note that YPO will award a maximum of 1 supplier per lot.

Suppliers are required to deliver multiple parcel consignments including scheduled collection and day –definite delivery service (Maximum 72 hr from collection). Lot 2B: Secondary UK OffshoreYPO require suppliers for multiple parcel consignments scheduled collection and day –definite delivery service (Maximum 72 hr from collection) providing a full and comprehensive coverage where necessary to Scottish Islands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, and Channel Islands.

Lot 4A: Primary U.K Mainland UK Network freight YPO require a supplier to collect single and multiple parcel consignments for a return collection service from addresses within the UK mainland to YPO Warehouse Wakefield (48 hr from notification). The supplier would be required to provide full and comprehensive coverage. Lot 4B: Primary Offshore YPO require a supplier to collect single and multiple parcel consignment fora return collection service from addresses in the offshore areas of Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight Channel Islands and Scottish Off-shore. Delivery is required to YPO Warehouse, Wakefield within 72 hr from notification. The successful supplier is expected to provide a full and comprehensive coverage.

Precise information on deadline(s) for lodging appeals: YPO will incorporate a standstill period at the point information on the award of the contract is communicated to tenderers. That notification will provide full information on the award decision. The standstill period, which will be for a minimum of 10 calendar days, provides time for unsuccessful tenderers to challenge the award decision before the contract is entered into. The Public Contracts Regulations 2015 provide for aggrieved parties who have been harmed or are at risk of harm by a breach of the rules to take action in the High Court (England, Wales and Northern Ireland).
