This PQQ has been issued by Magnox Ltd in connection with a competitive procurement for the provision of Information Technology (IT) Managed Services, conducted in accordance with the Negotiated Procedure with prior call for competition under the Utilities Contract Regulations 2016. Magnox Ltd requires a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to deliver Information Technology Managed Services. This PQQ sets out the information which is required by Magnox Ltd in order to assess the suitability of bidders in terms of their technical knowledge and experience; capability and capacity; organisational and financial standing, to meet the requirements.

II.2.4)Description of the procurement:

An Information Technology Managed Service to replace an existing contract which is reaching its conclusion. Magnox requires a fully managed IT Service to include the following areas of service:

— Service Desk, Incident Management and Problem Management Service.

— End User Catalogue and Procurement Service.

— Desktop Systems Service.

— Server Systems Service.

— Data Network Systems Service.

— Voice Network Systems Service.

— Asset Life-cycle Management Service.

— Secure RAS, Internet Access and Mobile Service.

— Applications Service.

— Video-conferencing Service.

— Technical Design and Architecture Service.

— Data Storage Service.

— IT Security Service.

— Availability and Service Continuity Service.

— Testing and Acceptance Service.

— Projects Service.

Objective criteria for choosing the limited number of candidates:

The Negotiated Procedure with prior call for competition is a multi-stage process. This PQQ is the first stage of the procurement process. Responses to the Pre-Qualification Questionnaire will be assessed by Magnox to determine a short-list of organisations to be invited to tender, using an agreed set of selection criteria. Selection criteria and their relative weighting are available through CTM.

The PQQ process will involve the consideration by Magnox of the capability and capacity of the organisations expressing interest in the procurement by submitting responses to the pre-qualification questionnaire. The questionnaire is available through CTM.

The short-list of organisations will be invited to tender through the issue of an ITT (Invitation to Tender). Tenders submitted will be assessed against an agreed list of award criteria to determine the Most Economically Advantageous Tender.

Details of the award criteria and how these will be evaluated will be made available to those successful in reaching the short list and will be published as part of the Invitation to Tender (a draft copy of which is available through CTM).

Magnox reserves the right to down select during tender evaluation.
