The supply and distribution of a wide range of chemicals for use in research and education. This tender is not for chemicals used exclusively by Life Sciences.
SUPC is acting as the lead organisation on behalf of its members and also members of the Higher Education Purchasing Consortium Wales (HEPCW), the London Universities Purchasing Consortium (LUPC), the North East Universities Purchasing Consortium (NEUPC) and the North West Universities Consortium (NWUPC).

II.2.1)Total quantity or scope:

SUPC awards and manages Framework Agreements on behalf of its members and the members of participating purchasing consortia. The framework will be awarded initially for 24 months excluding 2 options to extend by up to 12 months each time. (Maximum total duration of the framework 48 months). Spend through the existing SUPC agreement is approximately 3,000,000 GBP per annum.
There is however no guaranteed level of expenditure on this Agreement; the competitiveness, level of service offered, and marketing effort of the chosen suppliers will be a large factor in determining how many institutions support the Agreement.
Bidders should read this documentation and the Instructions tab of each relevant Appendix carefully before completing the Tender documentation.
Bidders should make certain to comply with the process requirements for completion and submission of the Tender response as non-compliant Tenders will be rejected.
