The Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts (SCVA) is a public art museum at the University if East Anglia. The centre showcases a collection of art donated by Sir Robert and Lady Lisa Sainsbury, alongside a programme of temporary exhibitions with the concepts of the permanent collection at its core.
The SCVA requires a framework for transport services for fine art and temporary exhibitions to and from the museum.

Lot 1 — UK Transport;

1)Short description

The following general activities are to be undertaken / included as part of this contract:
— Collection and transportation of fine art ‘Loan Objects’ from UK lender premises to the SCVA;
— Transportation and return of fine art ‘Loan Objects’ from the SCVA to UK lenders at the end of the exhibition or loan period;
— To make all courier arrangements. The SCVA shall arrange and pay for accommodation in Norwich and other local costs such as taxi to and from the train station.
— Production / provision of crating and other packing material where requested;
— Providing technicians for packing of items where requested;
— Appointing and liaison with other transport firms as and when required.

— Transportation and return of fine art ‘Loan Objects’ from the SCVA to international lenders at the end of the exhibition or loan period; this may include some transport of works to UK lenders premises;
