Term Contract for Supply & Installation of Cycle Shelter for Safer Routes to Schools 2015-2017

2.2

Description of the goods or services required

The Contract is a three year Term Contract for the manufacture, supply and installation of cycle shelters through the Safer Routes to School Scheme at various schools in the Highlands. The work will include supply & installation of cycle shelters on prepared ground, construction of shelter foundations for the cycle shelters and supply & installation of bike racks.

3 Conditions for Participation

3.1

Minimum standards and qualification required

Companies wishing to express interest who are not already prequalified with D&I Service for Works of this nature, should complete and return the PQQ as instructed. ALL companies expressing interest MUST also submit the ‘Details of Works Experience’ form & return to Tracy Clarke by email before noon 15th May 2015. Failure to do so will result in exclusion from the Select List of Applicants – both forms are attached as Additional Documentation to this advertisement. The restricted number of companies (normally between 5 and 8) will then be invited to tender on the basis of PQQ score, proven recent experience of works of this nature, capability and financial factors – in accordance with the Scoring Matrix as attached as Additional Documentation. The form of Contract will be an NEC3 Term Contract with a Schedule of Rates. Applicants are expected to have experience with the NEC TC forms of contract. The contract award will be based on the lowest tender assessment price.
