Description of the contract
The Department of Health is responsible for the provision of public health stocks of antivenoms, antitoxins and vaccines (medicines) for emergency use in the UK. UK sources of these medicines are generally not available, therefore these products are sourced on an ad-hoc basis, infrequently and often in small volumes from various countries around the world. Services are being sought for the provision of customs brokerage, compliance and clearance services for these medicines, which are imported by the Department into the UK. The provision of these services is being sought for 3 years with an option to extend for a further year

Candidates wishing to be considered for this contract must register their Expression of Interest and download and complete a ITT through the DH eTendering portal (BMS). Registration is a simple one-step process; The supplier must register as a company/organisation; then each employee who may undertake a tendering exercise must then register as an individual. Once this stage is completed, it is then possible to register expression of interest for this tender. Note: Standard BMS functionality will only acknowledge one recipient per supplier for each individual tender. Note: Standard BMS functionality requires the registered e-mail address to function as individual’s username.
