Description of the contract

Staffordshire County Council is seeking to establish a framework agreement/call off contract to provide Tier 2 Emotional Wellbeing Support to children and young people presenting with mild/moderate emotional wellbeing difficulties. These services will offer a flexible solution to offering early intervention and prevention work to children and young people aged 5-17 who are experiencing mild/moderate emotional wellbeing difficulties. The services will be expected to offer support and work alongside parents/carers who may be instrumental in promoting the positive emotional wellbeing of their child. Providers must have the capability to deliver interventions in a range of non-clinical, community settings and must work to assist children and young people to develop the wellness tools to help manage and maintain their emotional wellbeing. The services will be offered as part of a wrap-around support package after children or young people have been assessed as needing support through a joint CAMHS/Local Support Team approach to managing referrals and initial assessments Staffordshire County Council is seeking a range of Providers to become part of the framework agreement including (but not limited to): • Counselling Services • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Services • Family Therapy Services • Creative Therapies, including art, drama and music • Tier 1 training services • Play Therapy • Animal Assisted Therapy • Peer support initiatives • Physical activities The framework agreement serves to complement rather than duplicate existing statutory and non-statutory emotional/mental health services for children. Those Providers, who successfully become part of the framework agreement, will be expected to respond quickly and flexibly to the presenting needs of the referred children and young people. The services will be expected to deliver against and achieve a number of pre-determined outcomes for children and young people that relate to emotional health and wellbeing. Tender documents relating to this framework agreement will be available within the next 4 -6 weeks. Providers are asked to express interest to this advertisement, and will subsequently be informed when the documents are available.
