Applications are invited from suitably qualified contractors wishing to be considered for inclusion on a Select List of Tenderers for the design and construction Tiverton EUE Access, half cloverleaf junction.
The works comprise the construction of the northern loop of a half cloverleaf junction on the A361 east of Gornhay Cross including on / off slip roads, a steel bridge over the A361 and tie-in with a new roundabout. A drawing showing the approved half cloverleaf junction can be found on Mid Devon District Council’s planning portal, reference 14/01168/MFUL. Please note the roundabout and southern part of the half cloverleaf junction is not being commissioned by this Authority.
In total approx. 750 m new carriageway, partially on embankment is to be constructed. The new carriageway is also to be street lit.
Drainage is to be provided via a sustainable drainage system consisting of ditches and an unlined attenuation pond.
