Sunderland City Council invite tenders from suitably qualified organisations for the provision of Traffic Management Services. The Framework will include for both full and partial road closures on all categories of carriageway. It will require both mobile and static methods of traffic management be available. The Framework will cover:
– High Speed Roads AND Emergency Call Out (Non Highways Schemes)
– Match Day Traffic
– Road Marking Operations
– Highway Schemes
The Framework will be awarded on a ranked supplier basis. The top 3 scoring bids will be appointed to this framework. The Council reserves the right to conduct further competition exercises at its sole discretion.
The duration of the contract shall be 3 years with a potential 1×12 month extension that may be exercised at the Council’s sole discretion.

This is an electronic tender via the Council’s ProContract eTender system. All organisations interested in this tender should register an expression of interest against this contract online at ‘www.nepoportal.org‘, Tender Reference QTLE-948G84. All tender documents are available via this portal. The Council will be using the Open Procurement Procedure and completed Invitation to Tenders (ITT) must be returned before 12:00 on 11.3.2013, in accordance with the instructions in the documents.

As part of the tender process Sunderland City Council intend to hold a supplier briefing on the 11th February at Civic Centre, Burdon Road, Sunderland. SR2 7DN, please arrive at 9.15 am for a 9.30 am start. The aim of the briefing is to provide advice on submitting a compliant bid, there will also be an opportunity to ask some questions.
