Description of the contract

The main aim of the Taith I Waith project is to provide additional and intensive support for people who face barriers to employment, in order to ensure they gain the skills and confidence to succeed in education, employment and training and to increase the number of people gaining skills and employment in Gwynedd.

You are invited to tender for the delivery of a diverse range of training courses to support people who, through a range of disadvantages, are economically inactive or unemployed. Providers must be able to offer serveral levels of qualifications ranging from Basic Skills and up to and including Level 4 accredited vocational and/or academic qualifications in the subject areas mentioned.

The Framework Agreement will be a single supplier agreement (1 provider to be awarded per lot).

Lot 1 – Construction, building (CSCS Certificates etc)

Lot 2 – Catering, Cooking and hospitality food hygiene etc

Lot 3 – Business Administration, Business Planning and goal setting/problem solving strategies

Lot 4 – IT Couses, ECDL

Lot 5 – Customer service, retail related courses

Lot 6 – Child Care

Lot 7 – General Basic Skills (confidence building, motivation, personal grooming and hygiene)

Lot 8 – Additional low key programmes (please ‘specify’ – examples could include animal care, interview preparation etc

These Lots are not an exhausive list, providers are encouraged to add additional vocation and academic provision that fits the target beneficiaries stated in the service details document, this can be as innovative and varied as the provider sees fit. If the provider intends to submit any additional provision please use Lot 8.

The successful providers must be able to deliver flexible courses in a timescale to fit the qualification.

SUPPLIERS INSTRUCTIONS HOW TO EXPRESS INTEREST IN THIS TENDER

1. REGISTER YOUR COMPANY ON THE eTENDERWALES PORTAL (THIS IS ONLY REQUIRED ONCE)

– Note the username you chose and click “Save” when complete

– You will shortly receive an email with your unique password (please keep this secure)

2. EXPRESS AN INTEREST IN THE TENDER

– Login to the portal with the username/password

– Click the “Open Access ITTs” link. (These are Invitations to Tender open to any registered supplier)

– Click on the relevant ITT to access the content.

– Click the “Express Interest” button in the “Actions” box on the left-hand side of the page.

– This will move the ITT into your “My ITTs” page. (This is a secure area reserved for your projects only)

– Click on the ITT code, you can now access any attachments by clicking the “Settings and Buyer Attachments” in the “Actions” box

3. RESPONDING TO THE TENDER

– You can now choose to “Reply” or “Reject” (please give a reason if rejecting)

– You can now use the ‘Messages’ function to communicate with the buyer and seek any clarification

– Note the deadline for completion, then follow the onscreen instructions to complete the ITT

– There may be a mixture of online & offline actions for you to perform (there is detailed online help available)
