Nottingham City Council’s Employment and Skills Team wishes to engage a number of external providers to provide a range of pre-employment training and other bespoke support for unemployed city residents. This bespoke support might include:
—Sector specific training;
—Mentoring and Coaching;
—Licenses and eligibility checks (for example, CSCS cards or SIA badges or any other licences or checks required in the specific profession);
—Taster sessions in various disciplines;
The purpose of this is to ensure that unemployed city residents are supported into accessing employment and training opportunities secured by the Employer Hub.
It will be extremely important for the successful tenderers to liaise closely with the Council and the other providers to ensure a seamless approach to the design and delivery of the proposed training programmes.
