New Forest District Council (NFDC) and Test Valley Borough Council (TVBC) have been working together on the procurement of tree maintenance services for many years. The current Tree Maintenance Services contract expires on 31.12.2016 and will be superseded by the contract awarded to the successful tenderer identified through this tender exercise.
NFDC are leading the invitation to tender on behalf of both Councils to identify, select and award the contract to a single contractor who satisfies the Councils selection criteria and has submitted a compliant bid under this tender exercise.
The awarded contractor must fully meet (or exceed) the specification set out in the Councils Tender documents available via the Councils e-tendering platform the South East Business Portal.
The outcome contract will be jointly awarded by both Councils to the same contractor for a contract period of 5 years, with optional extension period of 2 years.
