The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement, and the contract will be awarded on the basis of the most economically advantageous tender. There will be an option to extend the length of the contract by up to an additional three years.The value in the range of 750 000 GBP to 1 000 000 GBP given at II.2.1 is for the unextended Contract period. The date given at IV.3.5 may be subject to change. Should an insufficient number of suitable Organisations apply to be included on the Tender list, the Council reserves the right to reduce the number of tenderers to a number below that given at IV.1.2.
