This opportunity is to create a University of Birmingham Main Contractor Construction Framework Agreement with the ability to support other HE sector organisations and to develop local initiatives for project between the value of 2 500 000 GBP — 10 000 000 GBP. It is anticipated that the Framework Agreement will be for 10 years and will be based on the University of Birmingham construction project pipeline which is estimated to be in the region of 130 000 000 GBP. The framework is expected to generate partnership working and to develop long term relationships.

The University intends to Procure new long term Framework Agreements for all Construction activities in line with the Estates Strategy “Building on Strong Foundations” and the £130m Project pipeline and therefore wishes to create a Construction Framework Agreement for a period of 10 years on the basis of the return on investment that will be required by the successful Construction Partners.
