Description of the contract

To provide two evidence review updates, one evidence review and a piece of consensus based research that the PHAC will consider as the basis for updating and extending the recommendations. There are 3 components of work associated with this guidance update that CPHE seeks to commission: 1. To update the two evidence reviews produced in 2008, including new evidence relating to drop boxes, outreach schemes and vending machines for out-of-hours provision. 2. To review the qualitative and quantitative evidence including unpublished ‘grey’ literature on the provision of NSPs to PIED users. 3. To gather, analyse and synthesise reports, policies, published evidence and expert opinion on the provision of NSP to young people under 18. CPHE welcomes tenders either for individual components or all for all three components of work from individual organisations or consortia of organisations.
