The contract comprises of the installation of a Citrix XenDesktop 7 environment and thin client installation across the organisation.
The successful contractor will provide a high quality service to the contracting authority, in full compliance with the specification and conditions of contract provided.
Scope: The contract will be for around 500 users across a number of sites, the Group are looking to enhance their service provided to customers by creating a flexible working environment. The Group consider VDI to be key to this in being able to access all systems, from anywhere and from any device. This will be an upgrade to the Groups existing Citrix XenApp infrastructure.
This project will consist of:
— Procurement of approximately 400 Thin Client Terminals appropriate for the required solution
— Installation of HP Blade server into the existing VMware vSphere 5.5 environment
— Installation and configuration of Citrix XenDesktop 7
— Assistance with any issues found with the application used by Progress Housing Group
