The Highland Council wishes to enter into a Framework Agreement with suitably qualified and experienced Service Providers, to provide Ad Hoc Vehicle servicing and repair, welding, sub-contracting works and recovery within the Highlands and Islands Area.
The Framework Agreement shall be divided into five (5) lots:
Lot 1 — Vehicle Servicing and Repair,
Lot 2 — Vehicle Welding and Fabrication,
Lot 3 — Vehicle MOT’s,
Lot 4 — Breakdown and Recovery of Vehicles,
Lot 5 — Windscreen/Glass repair or replacement.
Service Providers may submit prices for 1 or more lots, and can indicate which geographic areas they are prepared to cover.
The Framework will be for a three (3) year period with the option for the Authority to extend by one (1) additional year. In addition, the Framework will be operational in annual tranches — this means that it shall be re-advertised annually to allow new entrants to join the Framework. Operators already on the Framework need not reapply unless their information has changed, or they wish to update their pricing.
