The workforce will work to a specified service model and will have the option to be based at Mansfield House in Leicester City Centre. The workforce will need to be sufficiently flexible to manage the predicted demand and victim need, applying the service model described and will require a combination of paid and volunteer roles all of whom must pass an enhanced level of police vetting and security checks.
Applicants are asked to note that whilst it is the PCC’s preference that the Victim First administrative hub to be based out of Mansfield House for reasons of cost savings relating to setting up the required IT systems and practical benefits of co-location of related services (e.g. Witness Care and the local Community Rehabilitation Company) the applicant is free to use alternative estate, facilities, equipment and resources so long as this at least meets the specifications and unit costs indicated.
