To accommodate its growing audience, the V&A is looking to appoint an architect to create a new Members’ Room on the second floor of its South Kensington site which will overlook the new Exhibition Road Entrance opening in Spring 2017.
The Museum’s membership base is growing and it needs to provide a beautiful space which is able to cater to their needs.
The ambition is that the design of the Members’ Room will take advantage of the views over the new Exhibition Road project creating a unique space which reflects the spirit of the Museum.
The architect will act as Lead Consultant for the project, and the V&A will appoint the remainder of the design team through the Museum’s existing frameworks.

Information and formalities necessary for evaluating if the requirements are met: The Authority will apply all the offences listed in Article 45(1) of Directive 2004/18/EC (implemented as Regulation 23(1) of the Public Contract Regulations (PCR) 2006 in the UK) and all of the professional misconducts listed at Article 45(2) of Directive 2004/18/EC (see also Regulation 23(2) in the PCR 2006) to the decision of whether a Candidate is eligible to be invited to tender.
