Description of the goods or services required

Design, supply and fit of voltage optimisers to 13 Council properties, one of which is located in the north isles, one is located on the south isles, and all others are located on the Orkney Mainland.

Building consumption ranges from 180,000 to 530,000 Kwh, with a total consumption of around 46,000,000 Kwh per year across the 13 properties.

The works are planned to be undertaken between September and December 2012.

3 Conditions for Participation

Minimum standards and qualification required.

Please fully complete the Pre-qualification questionnaire attached to this notice and either return via the Public Contracts Scotland secure postbox facility or by post to Development and Infrastructure Services, Orkney Islands Council, School Place, Kirkwall, Orkney, KW15 1NY. The deadline for application is 12:00 (noon) on 22 June 2012. Contractors must demonstrate experience of undertaking similar works and in remote locations.
